Yucaipa 2012

My aching knees resulted in me having less enthusiasm for taking photos so there are only a few below. I did include a photo with our two guests, Ron Gearhart and Bill Thomas, both of whom will soon become members. I tried to use my Photo editor to make the course look greener but it couldn't turn brown into green. Everyone remarked on Yucaipa's famous fast greens. The speed of the greens was greatly enhanced by the fact that most of them had a rather severe slope. Thus, if you were above the hole you were in trouble (I was often in trouble). This was John Doomey's maiden outing following his shoulder surgery. Except for one drive that brought some pain, he did really well. As usual, no matter the challenges offered by the course, our members all seemed to have a good time and a few even played well.
